Strike Energy is focused on Australia and the USA because of our experience, technical capability and relationships in these markets. Our unconventional shale oil & gas projects and our conventional exploration and production assets present shareholders with substantial value upside.
Strike is a leading exploration company in Australia’s Cooper and Eromanga Basin. We have approximately 3.7 million net acres (approx 15,000 km2) of exploration permits with substantial unconventional (coal and shale) potential and 14 Tcf (net) mean prospective resource. We also have exploration permits in the Carnarvon Basin and rights over a 578 million tonne lignite resource in South Australia.
Strike’s international assets are in Texas, the USA’s most established hydrocarbon producing state. We have over 10,400 net acres within the highly sought after Eagle Ford Shale and 1,875 net acres within the Permian Basin. We also have conventional producing and exploration assets targeting the Wilcox sands.
